It's already 7:36 pm and I'm still at the office.. not because I am forced to do so but because I choose to be here.. I've already done my day's work hours ago but I'm still here because I need to write an article for our company newsletter. I just signed up and this would be my first writing assignment. I've been trying to get it done but I keep losing my momentum and I end up delaying it for later.. I still have not finished it and I just needed to get away from it for a while so I decided to write an entry on my blog.. Hoping this will get me psyched to finish my article.. Ambience is everything. This is the third trinket of wisdom that I want to put in writing. And yes, it is true, ambience really is everything. It came to me during lunch through the comments of my officemates. I had heated my lunch, cleaned my utensils, prepared everything on the table, got ready to eat but not before I played music thru my phone for apetite enhancement purposes. And then ...

Just today, I again verified another earlier realization in my life... I've been in the world of employment for almost 5 years now.. been with different companies, worked with different kinds of people and the greatest frustration I've been gritting my teeth on is --- Ass kissing will get you anywhere!!! And I mean anywhere!! People have gotten promoted, have gotten salary increases and have been sent around the world just because they kiss ass and suck __icks!!! Its true, call me cynical but it is true and I can tell you that straight to your face. And the greatest frustration of it all is that I AM NOT ONE OF THEM KISSERS AND SUCKERS and I don't get the perks they do! I just can't do it, I don't have the balls to go about it and I can't and I won't imagine myself basking in the glory of something I only got because I sucked up to people in power.. That is just disgusting and very low!!! I actually have an entry on ass kissing in my notebook journal at hom...

As of today, I have pledged to keep a journal of the little learnings I get every day.. hoping to have a treasury of things to tell my grandchildren or just make me laugh when I am old and gray... Here is what I learned today, actually I've kinda known this for a long time already and only decided to put it in writing today.. March 28, 2007, Wednesday A toilet bowl with a closed lid in a public restroom is a scary thing. How would you like to open one and find there are unidentified floating objects... ewww.. I'd rather not! That is why, in this lifetime, I vow never to venture into the abyss of "what hides behind the closed lids". Unless, I have someone else with me, wanting to experience the whole thing wth me hoping not to puke upon whatever we might uncover, then I just might reconsider it....
